Umar Sadiq needs a goal to match his personal goal-scoring record in a single league season when Almeria host Castellon in Saturday’s La Liga SmartBank game at the Estadio Mediterraneo.
Sadiq is one goal away from matching his personal scoring record in a league season after scoring 11 times in 18 Super Liga games for Partizan Belgrade during the 2019-20 campaign.
The lanky Nigerian attacking ace was on target once last Sunday but his goal was not enough to help Almeria beat Sabadell as both club-sides played out a very interesting 2-2 draw.
Sadiq has now found the back of the net twelve times in 21 appearances across all competitions since he switched to Almeria from Partizan Belgrade of Serbia in October of last year.
