Wilfred Ndidi – Eagles star could return to action this Sunday against Wolves on Sunday as Brendan Rodgers provided some positive news after Leicester City’s win over Fulham.
While City was able to win without the Nigerian at Craven Cottage, they will happily welcome the Super Eagle back if he can return to fitness in time for the trip across the Midlands.
Rodgers said in his post-match press conference that with a few more days of training, Ndidi will be close to featuring against Wolves.
Ndidi suffered a minor hamstring tear against Everton and has been out for two fixtures.
“We’re very hopeful he will be back,” Rodgers said. “I spoke to the medical team today. He has been out running and with another few days of training, we’re confident he will be involved.”
