According to reports ‘Barcelona Player Alejandro Balde Extends Contract Through June 2028’ Barcelona and Alejandro Balde have finalized a new contract agreement, extending his tenure with the club until 30 June 2028.
With the contract now signed, Alejandro Balde solidifies his role as the left back in the first team. Having joined Barça at the age of eight in 2011, Balde rapidly progressed through the youth categories of FC Barcelona.
During the 2020/21 season, he began to make appearances in the first team, debuting in a preseason friendly against NÃ stic de Tarragona. In September 2021, he made his Champions League debut against Bayern Munich, substituting for Jordi Alba.
The 2021/22 campaign showcased glimpses of his talent, and by the 2022/23 season, he had established himself as a crucial member of the first team, securing the position of the first-choice left back.
As of now, Balde has amassed 55 appearances for the Barça first team, starting in 42 of them, scoring once and providing six assists.
