Michael Schumacher’s manager has described the reaction of the German’s family to ‘difficult parts’ of the Netflix documentary about his life career. Netflix released their highly-anticipated documentary ‘Schumacher’ today.
The documentary, released on the 30th anniversary of Schumacher’s debut in Formula 1, follows the journey of the seven-time world champion from karting to the pinnacle of motorsport.
It is one fans are eager to watch, to gain insight into the F1 legend’s life and career.
During an interview, Schumacher’s manager Sabine Kehm talked about how the film has the backing of the German’s family.
“They have seen the film once and they like it and totally are behind it – also the difficult parts,” Kehm replied when asked about their reactions to the documentary.

“Otherwise he wouldn’t have had the energy for the fight. This he sensed relatively early and he did it like that all those years.
“This again is the reason why his family has been doing it like this all those years now. And I think the film has found a good way to confront this topic despite this attitude.”
It was this attitude that allowed Schumacher to flourish on track and become the champion he was during his career.
The 52-year-old is one of F1’s greatest drivers ever, winning two championships for Benneton in 1994 and 1995 before sealing five in a row for Ferrari between 2000 and 2004.
